AboutME
BELÉN MOYANO (she/her/hers) is a passionate, hilarious, empathetic artist hustling to create beauty, change hearts, and open doors. She’s a New York City based actor, singer, musician, and activist invested in furthering diversity/equity/inclusion in theatre and the world around her.
As an advocate for immigrants and anti-racism efforts, Belén is grateful to be involved with artistic communities that share her passion. From organizing and singing in benefit concerts for organizations like Immigrant Families together, and participating in the development of new theatre works by BIPOC writers, to translating musical theatre songs into Spanish, she hopes her work will bring support and opportunities to marginalized communities. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, she most enjoys sharing colorful, meaningful stories about love, Latinos, and liberation.
As a theatre professional, Belén has performed Off-Broadway, in Regional Theatre premieres, and on the silver screen of the pandemic—Zoom. She’s a proud recipient of Utah State University’s Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance and a mildly disgruntled member of Actors Equity Association.
Belén lives in Washington Heights with her husband Drew and her fiddle leaf fig tree, George.
