AboutME
Well, hello there!
My name's BELÉN (she/her/ella) and I'm a passionate, hilarious, empathetic artist hustling to create beauty, change hearts, and open doors. I'm a New York City based actor, singer, musician, and activist invested in furthering diversity/equity/inclusion in theatre and the world around me.
As an advocate for immigrants and anti-racism efforts, I'm grateful to be involved with artistic communities that share my passion. From organizing and singing in benefit concerts for organizations like Immigrant Families together, and participating in the development of new theatre works by BIPOC writers, to translating musical theatre songs into Spanish, I hope my work will bring support and opportunities to marginalized communities. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, I most enjoy sharing colorful, meaningful stories about love, Latinos, and liberation.
As a theatre professional, I've performed Off-Broadway, in Regional Theatre premieres, and on the silver screen of the pandemic—Zoom. I'm a proud recipient of Utah State University’s Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance and a member of Actors Equity Association.
I'm currently on the road with my husband Drew and our Subaru Outback playing a Fate on the First National Tour of Hadestown. Catch me on the Road to Hell in a city near you!
