AboutME
Well, hello there!
My name's Belen [pronounced beh-LEN] (she/her/ella) and I'm a passionate, hilarious, empathetic artist working to create beauty, change hearts, and open doors. I'm a New York City based actor, singer, musician, and activist invested in furthering diversity/equity/inclusion in theatre and the world around me.
As an advocate for immigrants and anti-racism efforts, I'm grateful to be involved with artistic communities that share my passion. From organizing and singing in benefit concerts for organizations like Immigrant Families Together, and participating in the development of new theatre works by BIPOC writers, to translating musical theatre songs into Spanish, I hope my work will bring support and opportunities to marginalized communities. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, I most enjoy sharing vibrant, meaningful stories about love, Latinos, and liberation.
As a theatre professional, I've performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, on National Tours as well as Regional Theaters across the U.S. and Canada. I'm a proud recipient of Utah State University’s Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance and a member of Actors Equity Association.
Most recently I was seen on Broadway in Hadestown at the Walter Kerr Theatre where I played an incredibly unhinged Fate eight times a week and understudied Eurydice.
